What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember information between visits or requests — for example, whether you've already made a choice, or what you were doing on a previous page. Some cookies are required for a site to function at all; others are only set with your consent, for purposes like advertising measurement or understanding how visitors use a site.

This is the list of cookies and similar browser storage that this website and the tools it uses set, as far as we know, on the effective date above. Providers can change what they set, so their own documentation is authoritative:

cookie_consent and cookie_consent_timestamp are not, technically, cookies — they are stored in your browser's local storage rather than as cookies. They are listed here for completeness, since they still involve storing a small piece of data on your device.
Microsoft Clarity may also set a small number of additional third-party cookies not listed individually above — including CLID, MUID, ANONCHK, MR, and SM — to recognize repeat visits across Microsoft's own services. See Microsoft's Clarity Cookies reference for what each one does.
Once you've granted consent, Google Ads may also set additional third-party cookies under the doubleclick.net domain — such as IDE and ar_debug — used for ad measurement. These aren't set while your preference is Reject (or before you've made a choice). See Google's Types of cookies used by Google for the complete, current list.
Contact form security. When the contact form is shown, Cloudflare Turnstile loads to check that a submission is not automated, and may use cookies or similar browser storage for that purpose. It is treated as strictly necessary and does not depend on your choice. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy for details.
The Google tag is loaded only after you accept Marketing, and Microsoft Clarity only after you accept Analytics. Until then, neither is requested by your browser, and this website sends no request to Google or Microsoft Clarity.
Interactive Demo (Browser Storage Only)
The Benedict App interactive demo at app.benedictcorp.store has its own web address and is separate from this website's cookie choices. It sets no cookies and has no analytics, advertising, or third-party services. It uses your browser's session and local storage only to run the demo you asked for. That data stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Closing the tab therefore normally removes your session data, unless your browser restores the session, but does not remove a saved timer. If your browser blocks storage, the demo runs in memory only and everything is gone when the page closes. Both storage areas belong to the demo's own web address; they are not shared with benedictcorp.com.
Cookies from this website. The demo is served from its own domain, app.benedictcorp.store, which is separate from benedictcorp.com. Cookies that this website or its tools set are therefore not sent to the demo.
Your Choices
The cookie banner offers three choices: Accept all, Reject optional, and Choose selection. Choose selection lets you turn each category on or off:
- Necessary — always on, because the site cannot function securely without it (contact form security and remembering your choice).
- Analytics — Microsoft Clarity session recordings and heatmaps. Off until you opt in.
- Marketing — Google Ads conversion measurement. Off until you opt in.
If you switch a category off after previously accepting it, we delete the cookies our site can identify for that category — Google's _gcl_* and _gac_* cookies for Marketing; _clck and _clsk for Analytics — and reload the page so the tool stops running. Cookies that providers set on their own domains can be removed in your browser settings.
How to Change Your Preference
You can change your cookie preference at any time using the "Manage cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page. This reopens the same choice you saw on your first visit — Accept all, Reject optional, or Choose selection to turn Analytics and Marketing on or off individually — and takes effect immediately. Necessary cookies are always on and can't be disabled, since the site can't function without them.
Consent Duration
Your choice is remembered for approximately 6 months. After that, we'll ask again the next time you visit, so your preference always reflects a reasonably recent decision rather than one made a long time ago.
